INSTAL·LACIÓ DE SUPORTS

1. Unscrew the screw with a 4mm hex wrech and pull out the strap.
2. Wrap strap around tube and press it slightly in insertion area (A).
3. Tighten the screw with a 4mm hex wrech until the bracket is snug and will not move. Then cut away the excess strap if necessary.
4. Insert the lock like shown in image 3. You will hear a click when the lock has successfully been inserted into the bracket.
5. To remove press down on the release button (B) and slide the lock up.
6. If you would like to mount the lock horizontaily, repeat step 1. Then carefully pull the strap out from the bracket body (C). Once removed, turn (C) 1/4 of a turn so it looks like image 6. Then slide the strap back through the strap port. Follow the same as steps 1 – 4 to mount your bracket on the bike. When completed the cable should look like the example in image 6.

• Place the bike against an anchored stationary object. Place the Kryptonite cable around the stationary object and through the bike frame. Remove key.
• Check the lock before leaving the bike to be sure it is properly secured. Whenever possible, capture the anchored stationary object, the frame, and rear wheel within the cable.

CURA I MANTENIMENT

Lubricate the lock several times a year to keep the lock in its best working condition. Always use a lubricant that has only a silicone, graphite or Teflon base. Face the lock cylinder upright and spray or pour the lubricant into the cylinder. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Place a rag on the workstation and turn the lock over onto the rag for a few minutes.
Note: Do not use WD-40! WD-40 is a solvent, not a lubricant and will remove lubricant in the cylinder.

LIGHTED KEY

If the lock comes with a lighted key:

• TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES: Remove both screws and lift off key cover and replace the batteries (two 1.5v lithium batteries (AG10, 389, 189, LR1130 or LR54) with the “+” facing up. Make sure the contact spring is properly fitted into the underside of the button and replace both key cover screws.
• TO REMOVE AND/OR REPLACE THE KEY BLADE FROM THE LED CASE: Turn the LED case over to the backside and unscrew the 2 screws. Hold LED case in one hand, then pull upwards on the key ring of the Key Blade to completely remove.
• TO REINSERT A NEW KEY BLADE INTO THE LED CASE: Slide the Key Blade into the opening of LED case until you hear a click. Be sure the stamp key code area is facing you. Insert the two screws and tighten clockwise.
