This document mainly introduces application scenarios, installation, debugging and maintenance of home energy storage system (“product”, “equipment” or “energy storage device” for short) . The “hybrid inverter” below is called “inverter” for short.

Preparació prèvia a la instal·lació
Check the Outer Package
Before unpacking outer package of the Product, please check whether it has any visible damage such as hole, cracking or any other sign showing possible damage of the Product in it. If the outer package is abnormal, do not open it and please contact your dealer as soon as possible.

After unpacking the outer package, refer to the 1.4 Material List. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact your dealer.
Preparation of tools and instruments

Llista de material
The NOVA 2000 PRO system includes Package A containing the Pack and Package B containing the hybrid inverter. The contents of each package are coded as follows in the table. Before installing the product, check that all equipment components are included and ensure that none of the components in the packaging are damaged. The list is as follows:

Choose a location for installing the product, taking into consideration the following factors:
- Do not install the product in a non-ventilated enclosed space. To prevent overheating, ensure adequate airflow around the product.
- Avoid direct sunlight and high ambient temperatures, as these can cause excessive operating temperatures and reduce conversion efficiency.
- The NOVA 2000 PRO series is designed for a charging and discharging temperature range of -20°C to 60°C, with an optimal operating temperature range of 0°C to 25°C. We recommend that the installation environment temperature be within the range of -20°C to 45°C.
- If more than one backup power system is installed in the same location, maintain a minimum clearance of 500mm between adjacent units.
- The installation location should have access to Ethernet or WiFi connectivity.
- The installation location should meet the load-bearing requirements. We recommend solid brick and concrete structures, such as concrete walls and floors.
- Walls and floors should be flat, and drilling into walls should avoid existing plumbing and electrical lines.
- The installation location should be out of reach of children.
- The installation location must be away from high-salt and other corrosive environments.
- Do not install the product on flammable or explosive carriers.
- Do not install the product in areas with strong electromagnetic interference.
- Do not install the product in mobile scenarios, such as boats or recreational vehicles.
- Ensure the product is installed in an upright position and avoid tilting or inverting it.
- It is recommended to equip fire safety equipment and ensure the installation location is easily accessible to firefighters.
- Install in a sheltered location as shown in the following diagram:

Instal·lació del producte
Primer pas
- Select a wall area approximately 1800*900 mm.
- Open packages A and B, and retrieve parts A1 and B1.
- Position parts A1 and B1 according to the dimensions shown in Figures 1.1-1 and 1.1-3.
- Mark the positions for parts A2 and B2 (M6*50 expansion bolts) by aligning them with the four holes in A1 and B1. Drill holes using an impact drill (recommended drill bit diameter: 8 mm), as shown in Figure 1.1-2.
- Mount A1 and B1 on the wall with expansion bolts. Tighten the M6 expansion bolts with a cordless drill, recommending a torque of 5 N.m.
- Using A1 as the reference point, draw a positioning line ‘a’ for installing the Pack approximately 400mm long to the right of A1 on the wall, and two positioning lines ‘b’ and ‘c’, each approximately 10mm long.
Nota:
- You can use a band tape, spirit level, and marker pen to assist in positioning the holes.
- Ensure that the edges of A1 and B1 are aligned.



Segon pas
- As shown in Figure 2.2-1, screw out the two leveling feet of the Pack for installation in subsequent steps.
- It is recommended to use a lifting trolley as shown in Figure 2.2-3. Install the lifting arm and pins into the hoist hole positions on both sides of the Pack. Attach the cordless drill to the position indicated in the figure.
- Turn on the cordless drill to lift the Pack to a vertical position as shown in Figure 2.2-4.



Tercer pas
- As shown in Figure 2.3-1, move the lifting trolley and re-screw the leveling feet into the bottom of the Pack until they can no longer be turned.
- As shown in Figure 2.3-2, connect A3 (orange for positive, black for negative, and white for communication) to the upright Pack.


Quatre pas
- As shown in Figure 2.4-1, push the lifting trolley to move the Pack tightly against A1. Adjust the trolley left or right to align the right side of the Pack with the positioning line ‘a’ on the wall.
- Turn on the cordless drill to lower the Pack down to the position of positioning line ‘b’ on the wall as shown in Figure 2.4-2. Then continue to push the lifting trolley towards the wall, ensuring that the Pack remains tight against A1.
- Using the cordless drill, lower the Pack further down to the position of positioning line ‘c’ on the wall as illustrated in Figure 2.4-3. Finally, hang the Pack on A1 as shown in Figure 2.4-4. Ensure the Pack is in a vertical position.
- As depicted in Figure 2.4-5, before removing the lifting trolley, adjust and lock the leveling feet of the Pack. Use an adjustable wrench to assist in this adjustment if necessary.
- Remove the pin connecting the lifting trolley to the Pack, and then you can withdraw the lifting trolley.




Cinque pas
- As shown in Figure 2.5-1, mount B3 onto the hybrid inverter.
- As shown in Figure 2.5-2, hang the hybrid inverter onto B1 and mount both sides of the hybrid inverter with B4.

Internal Electrical Connections of the Energy Storage System

Nota:
- To prevent errors, connect the cables according to the following installation sequence!
- Ensure that the battery module switch is in the OFF position!
- Install the Internal Protective Grounding Cable
As shown in Figure 2.6-1, use part A4 to connect the Pack to the grounding point on the left side of the hybrid inverter.
- Install the Internal DC Cable
As shown in Figures 2.6-2 and 2.6-3, connect the other end of parts A3+ and A3- to the BAT+ and BAT- connectors inside the hybrid inverter, respectively; connect the other end of part A3COM to the BMS connector inside the hybrid inverter.

- Install the Router Communication Cable and the Protective Grounding Cable
As shown in Figure 2.6-4, use part A5 to connect to the customer’s router, As shown in Figure 2.6-5, use part A5 to connect to the customer’s Protective Grounding Cable, and lay the cable according to the on-site survey.
- Install the Internal Protective Grounding Cable

External Electrical Connections of the Energy Storage System
Diagram of external electrical connections of the energy storage system is shown below:

Nota: The home storage system can be connected to the router via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable.
Install the PV input cable, as shown in Figure 2.6-6

Nota:
- Before connecting to the inverter, ensure that the open-circuit voltage of the PV array is within the inverter’s specified limits.
- Before connecting, ensure that the polarity of the PV array output voltage matches the “DC+” and “DC-” symbols.
- Use approved PV system DC cables.

- Retrieve the DC terminals from the accessory pack. Unscrew the nuts to disassemble them and remove the waterproof collar.

- Pass the stripped DC cable through the nut and the waterproof collar.

As shown, Connect the wired DC terminal to the inverter as shown in the figure, and a slight “click” is heard to prove the connection is correct.

Notes:
If DC inputs are accidentally reversely connected or inverter is faulty or not working properly, it is NOT allowed to turn off the DC switch. Otherwise it may cause DC arc and damage the inverter or even lead to a fire disaster.

- In order to completely eliminate the possibility of failure, please disconnect the PV strings after turning off the DC switch to avoid secondary failures due to continuous PV energy on the next day.

Grid/Backup Load Side Wiring
Note: There are two AC power terminals on the inverter, and the assembly steps for both are the same.。
- Before wiring, ensure that the utility power is disconnected. As shown in Figure 2.6-7, pass the AC utility power cables through the GRID port; connect them in the correct phase sequence and tighten securely to the L, N, and PE terminals inside the hybrid inverter using a slotted screwdriver, as shown in Figure 2.6-8.
- Before wiring, ensure that the load power is disconnected. As shown in Figure 2.6-7, pass the load-side AC cables through the Backup port; connect them in the correct phase sequence and tighten securely to the L, N, and PE terminals inside the hybrid inverter using a slotted screwdriver, as shown in Figure 2.6-8.
- If connecting a diesel generator (genset), ensure the genset is not running before wiring. As shown in Figure 2.6-7, pass the genset output AC cables through the GEN port; connect them in the correct phase sequence and tighten securely to the L, N, and PE terminals inside the hybrid inverter using a slotted screwdriver, as shown in Figure 2.6-8.

Cablejat CT
- As shown in Figure 2.6-9, pass the B7 cable through the COM3 port. As illustrated in Figure 2.6-10, connect the white wire of accessory B7 to the CT-1 terminal inside the hybrid inverter, and connect the black-and-white striped wire of B7 to the CT-2 terminal.
- As shown in Figure 2.6-11, install the CT (current transformer) on the live wire (L phase) of the utility side, and ensure that the arrow on the CT points toward the utility (grid) side.

Inverter-to-Router Communication Wiring (Optional)
The inverter can be monitored remotely via Wi Fi, LAN, or 4G.
The USB-type COM port at the bottom of the inverter can be connected to different types of Solis data loggers to enable remote monitoring on the Solis Cloud platform.
If using LAN, use the crimped network cable with part B8 and connect it to the Ethernet port on the data stick.
Wiring Completion Check
- Ensure that all pieces of equipment have sufficient space for operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Check and confirm that the inverter is securely installed.
- Provide adequate ventilation space for the inverter.
- No items are placed on top of the inverter or battery module.
- The inverter and accessories are connected correctly.
- Cables are laid in safe locations or protected to prevent mechanical damage.
- Warning signs and labels are affixed in prominent positions and are not prone to falling off.
- The Bluetooth antenna is connected to the inverter’s antenna port.

Pas set
- As shown in Figure 2.7-1, use 4 bolts from part B10 to fix part A6 to part B9.
- Place the bottom of part A6 against the limit plates on both sides of the Pack’s bottom, then use 4 bolts from part A7 to fix part A6 to the Pack, as shown in Figure 2.7-2.
- As shown in Figure 2.7-2, plug the LED connector from part A6 into the LED socket on the back of Pack.


System Testing and Debugging
Encès
After all installations are completed, press the ON/OFF button. The system powers up successfully, and the power indicator lights and the ring light on the panel light up sequentially from bottom to top until normal display, which lasts for about 10 seconds. At this point, observe the state of the ring light.
