Llegiu atentament les instruccions abans de començar el procés d'instal·lació i guardeu-les per a futures consultes. En cas de dubte, consulteu sempre un electricista qualificat o una persona experimentada registrada en un Esquema de Persones Competents en Electricitat.
Aquest producte s'ha d'instal·lar d'acord amb les seccions pertinents del codi de normes d'edificació i l'edició actual del Reglament de cablejat IET (BS 7671) i les normatives legals pertinents.

INSTAL·LACIÓ – INSTRUCCIONS DE CABLEJAT

1. Ensure your mains supply to the circuit is isolated at the consumer unit
2. Unscrew the existing socket plate from the wall/mounting
3. Note the cable connections (Take a photo)
4. Disconnect wires from the existing switch and remove switch
5. Reconnect the wires to the new switch to the correct matching terminal
6. Ensure all earth connections have the green/yellow earthing sleeve on.
7. Check all screw terminals are correctly tightened and no bare wires are visible (Do not over tighten)
8. Where dual earth terminals are available, this is for installations where additional earth capacity is needed to comply with 607 IEE Wiring Regulations.
9. Carefully push back the cables and reinstall the socket with the screws provided
10. Fit the fascia cover back on, clip the top side on first then push the lower part of cover till it clicks in place. (Ensure the cover slots are at the bottom)
11. Once installation is complete, replace the fuse/reset RCBO and switch the power back on at the consumer unit and test.
12. To power on the socket, the switch rocker has a pip to indicate “ON” position.

IMPORTANT: An Earth wire must be installed if a metal back box or product with metal front plate is installed. To avoid fire hazard, do not exceed the maximum rated current of the switch.

WIRE IDENTIFICATION – TWIN & EARTH

A partir de l'1 d'abril de 2004 es van introduir nous codis de colors per a les instal·lacions de cablejat fix.

	Earth = Green / Yellow Sleeving
	Live – Brown (after Apr 04) Red ( Pre Apr 04)
	Neutral = Blue (after Apr 04) / Black ( Pre Apr 04)

Per evitar el risc d'incendi, utilitzeu sempre un cable amb la mida, el tipus i la capacitat correctes per a l'aplicació.

TREURE EL PANELL FRONTAL DECORATIU

Amb un tornavís pla de mida mitjana, introduïu el tornavís a l'osca de la part inferior de la coberta i gireu-lo per desenganxar la coberta.
Guarda el panell decoratiu en un lloc segur. Un cop instal·lat i pintat el mur, torna a enganxar-lo per aconseguir un acabat net.

Retrotouch repararà o substituirà el producte, al seu criteri, si és defectuós en un termini de 10 anys a partir del lliurament a causa de materials i/o fabricació defectuosos. La garantia és nul·la si el producte s'ha instal·lat, mantingut o modificat incorrectament.
Aquesta garantia estableix la responsabilitat total de l'empresa i exclou les pèrdues, els danys o els costos d'instal·lació conseqüents. No afecta els drets legals del consumidor.
