Configuració

To begin using your Arlo Essential Security Camera, follow these steps:

1. Carregar la càmera: Before initial use, ensure the camera is fully charged using the provided charging cable.
2. Descarrega l'aplicació Arlo Secure: Download and install the Arlo Secure App on your smartphone or tablet. The app will guide you through the pairing process.
3. Connecta't a Wi-Fi: The camera connects directly to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. If you have a dual-band router, ensure you connect to the 2.4GHz band. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your camera to your home network.

Resolució de problemes

If you encounter issues with your camera, particularly with connectivity or re-syncing, consider the following steps:

1. Assegureu-vos la càrrega completa: Verify the camera is fully charged.
2. Static Environment for Re-sync: If the camera is not connecting after being removed from the app, place it in a well-lit room facing a static scene (e.g., a wall) to prevent new recordings from interfering with the re-sync process. Allow time for any pending recordings to upload.
3. Inicia l'aparellament: Press the pair button on the camera for 3 seconds while holding it perfectly still. This should result in a fast blue light flash.
4. Afegeix un dispositiu a l'aplicació: Start the "add device" process in the Arlo Secure App. If prompted that the device was previously paired, proceed to reset.
5. Factory Reset (if needed): Press the pair button again for 15-20 seconds until an amber light flashes. Wait for the amber light to stop, then press the pair button once more for a fast blue light flash.
6. Torneu a connectar: Instruct the app to attempt connection again. If the app freezes during naming, close and reopen it, then complete the setup from the camera's settings.
